     After many months of planning and hard work, the car show was a phenomenal success. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t so cooperative with us, even though we only had a small, short sprinkle. So thank you to those who donated, sponsored, contributed, and participated. Also, and this is my most favorite part, only because I was behind the idea and execution :). Everyone who attended and participated in the car show this year was a part of the very FIRST ever electronic judging program. If you noticed, your dash card had a barcode next to your Entrant ID number. Based on that barcode, we had two handheld barcode scanners walking around with our judging teams, scanning these barcodes, and entering scores. The scores went directly into my registration program and added up all the scores right on the spot, so we didn’t have to take the time to add the scores up and enter all of them into the system at once. And that’s why we were able to do trophies early. So thank you for participating not only in the car show, but in the first ever electronic judging program.

     I could say THANK YOU a million times and it would never begin to express the gratitude that we feel for all of you that support us in our effort to give back to The Muscular Dystrophy Association. You braved the threat of horrible weather, the heat and the humidity and some of you drove hundreds of miles to spend the day with us. Once again we had some amazing vehicles, from the pre-60s' to monster trucks and even a "12,000 pound hot rod with indoor plumbing".
     Without you, our participants, we would not be able to host this show. Without your support and the support of our sponsors and contributors (and the wonderful volunteers) we would not be able to make a donation on Labor Day to the local chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
     Again, THANK YOU and God bless each of you! Hope to see you all again next year, same time, same location!
